We believe every child is fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14). Our counseling program partners with families to help students thrive socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually, rooted in Jesus' love and grace.

Our Counseling Mission
Serving K-8 Bobcats in St. Charles, Missouri, our approach is proactive, preventative, and fully aligned with the Missouri Comprehensive School Counseling Program through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
Our school counselors serve as caring guides who remove barriers so every student can grow into the gifts God has given them. We integrate biblical truth with evidence-based practices to support the whole child, helping them build resilience, healthy relationships, academic confidence, and a deeper walk with Jesus.
Our counselors wear many hats to equip students for success:
-
Deliver engaging classroom lessons on topics like friendship, emotional regulation, bullying prevention, and character rooted in Scripture
-
Offer short-term individual counseling to address immediate needs (not long-term therapy)
-
Facilitate small group sessions for targeted support (e.g., grief, social skills, anxiety)
-
Provide responsive services, including crisis intervention and referrals to trusted community partners when deeper help is needed
-
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administration using data to shape programs that benefit the entire school community
-
Act as a bridge to outside resources for families seeking additional professional support
School counselors are not disciplinarians, administrators, psychologists, psychiatrists, or social workers, but trusted allies dedicated to your child's holistic well-being.
