Get Involved in Zion Ministries

Zion welcomes you to get involved in the many ministries that support us in our day-to-day faith walk. Opportunities abound to study God’s Word at Zion and put what we learn into action.

Life Ministries

We learn at all ages because following Jesus is a journey, not a destination. Zion offers a wide selection of studies for members and the community under our Life Ministries.

Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30am in the Church basement for our adult "Higher" Education Bible Class.

Active Christians Through Study (ACTS) is a Bible class for senior citizens. This is a congenial group of Christians who have grown in their love and concern for each other through the study of the Word of God. They meet weekly for Bible study and refreshments on Tuesdays at 9:30 AM.

Participants may register at any time during the year and join any of the classes above.  The workbooks contain a schedule of class dates and lessons for each week.

Study Group on the Grass

Young Adult Group

Our hope is to connect with young adults in their 20s and 30s through fellowship and spiritual growth. We would love for you to join us.

Men's Bible Study

Zion Men gather together to study God’s Word on the second and fourth Saturday mornings of each month. One outgrowth of this activity is service opportunities as requests come to the group to assist other ministries of the congregation or individuals in need. A light breakfast is served at 7:30. The study is from 8:00-9:00 am in the Family Life Center.

Worship & Music

Zion offers many opportunities for members to be involved in the Worship and Music Ministry area. Members with gifts in many areas of music, audio-visual talents, and the desire to provide the services which enhance our worship, are invited to join one or more of the many ministry teams available in this area.
