Literacy

Our teachers provide a Structured Literacy approach to teaching these skills. Structured Literacy is  based on the science of reading and years of research exploring how the brain learns to read. We focus on phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. These skills are delivered in engaging ways to effectively cultivate readers.

Zion is blessed with the resources to be a 1:1 school from 1st grade - 8th grade. Zion is also a Google for Education school.
