Save The Date!
Plans are in place to celebrate year twelve of the Men’s 3T’s Retreat on September 26-28th. Menus are being set, the golf tournament is scheduled, the shooting range is booked, Mark Twain’s Group Camp is reserved, the lake is stocked, horseshoes are being packed, and all the arrangements are being finalized. The theme for this year’s retreat is Amazing Grace and based on the story of blind Bartemeus found in the ninth chapter of John. We will focus on God’s great grace to us which does not always look amazing. We’ve revised the evening presentations to include more discussion group activities under the leadership of Pastor Mark Hoehner of Chapel of the Cross and Pastor Dennis Schwab of Zion. Pastor Todd Liefer from Immanuel-Wentzville will lead our Sunday worship service. Additional Bible study activities are scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
All we need is you. Reserve the dates in your calendar and get registered. Brochures are available in the Welcome Center with a built in registration form. It is really simple and really inexpensive. For just $45 you will save your place for the weekend and that covers food, housing, and a commemorative thermal drink mug. Cost for the golf tournament is just $35 if you choose that activity. You can also go fishing or shooting on Saturday morning or you can join in the horseshoe tournament. Of course, you can choose to rest, read, ride your bike, or take a hike on Saturday morning. The brochure lists the complete agenda for the week-end so that you can get a sense of what to expect. If you would rather, you can go to the website, www.t3mensretreat.org and tour the camp on video, sign-up, and pay with PayPal if you like. (You will leave Zion's website.)
