A Man Named Martin - Part 1

Sept. 9 - Nov. 4th, 7:00-8:00 pm in the Sanctuary

In 2017, we will mark the 500th year since the Reformation - it will be a time of special celebration in our church body.  To help us prepare, the theme for our Ablaze Bible Studies for the next three falls will center on Martin Luther, the impact of the reformation.

Sept. 9-Oct. 7:  We will study the new video-based study “A Man Named Martin:  Part One-the Man.”  Participants will be given a fresh look into the genius of Dr. Martin Luther supported by an in-depth discussion guide, relevant Scriptures, and thought provoking questions.  This five week program will be led by Don Hugo.

Oct. 14-Nov. 4: We will explore Dr. Luther’s position on several relevant topics.  These include his views on vocation, marriage and family, being a good citizen, and education.   Our leader will be  Rich Cohrs, retired from full-time ministry at Lutheran Hour Ministries and a member of Zion.  Rich has traveled extensively in Germany and will bring first hand insights and pictures.

A Children’s Program will be available in the School Gym for Children PK3 - 6th Grade

No pre-registration is necessary for either program
