Choirs

All choirs at Zion sing attendant music that serves the theme of the day and relates to the lessons.  Each choir sings music of various difficulty levels and styles, ranging from unison to three or four-part pieces.  Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Men's Chorus - men age 15 and older practice Thursdays, 6:25 to 6:55 PM

Adult Choir - adults age 15 and older practice Thursdays, 7:00 to 8:30 PM

Treble Choir - women age 15 and older practice Thursdays, 8:35 to 9:15 PM

Requiem Choir - adults age 15 and older practice 30 minutes before every funeral

 

Ensembles

The Wind Ensemble accompanies hymns and also prepares music for the prelude, voluntary or the postlude.  The Liturgical Ensemble accompanies some of the hymns and a few of the orders of service.  Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Wind Ensemble - for teens/adults on brass, woodwind, percussion  practice on some Saturdays, 9:30 AM

Liturgical Ensemble - for teens/adults on guitar, bass, piano, C instr.  occasional practice on Tuesday evenings

 

Handbells

Chimes of Praise - beginners, grade 4 to 6 practice Mondays, 3:00 to 4:00 PM

Agape Ringers - advanced, grade 7 to 12 practice Mondays, 3:30 to 4:15 PM

Jubilate Ringers - adults, college and older practice Mondays, 6:30 to 7:30 PM

Alleluia Ringers - adults, college and older practice Mondays, 7:30 to 8:30 PM

Newsflash

Keep saving your postage stamps for the Stamps for Missions project. Place the stamps in the wooden church on the table in the Welcome Center. The following stamps are acceptable and needed:

· Commemorative

· Foreign

· US Air Mail

· US Priority Mail

· Federal Duck Stamps

When cutting the stamps from envelopes, please leave a 1/8 to 1/4 inch margin of paper. The perforation must be in perfect condition. Christmas, Flag, and Love stamps are not accepted.
