Stephen Ministry

This group of trained lay members carries out an effective and lasting caring ministry to those members of Zion who are experiencing a crisis that requires consistent, ongoing personal care. Stephen Ministry is designed to expand the quality and quantity of Christian care that Zion can provide its members by equipping lay persons to make weekly one-on-one visits with people needing Christian care and support. Zion has several caring persons trained in listening and communication skills who are ready to be with you in your time of need, grief or crisis.
