Speaker Series 2012 PDF Print E-mail

Wednesday evenings January 18 through February 15, 7 to 8:15 pm.

Every year Zion's Speaker Series aims to present timely topics through a variety of speakers.  We continue that tradition as we have the opportunity to hear about both historical and contemporary subjects.  Zion's Speaker Series provides an environment for conversation that will help us delve deeply into the presented topics:

Rev. Dr. Gerry Bode presenting "Zion Movie Nights: C.F.W. Walther"January 18th and 25th.  Discover the huge impact of Dr. Walther on Lutheranism in America and particularly in Missouri.

David Sukolics speaking on "Bethesda Lutheran Service".  February 1st.  Learn what the Bible says about disability and ministry.

Bridget Van Means & Carolyn Kuntz speaking on "THRIVE - The Effort to End Abortion".  February 8th.  See how this organization has made great strides in ending abortion clinics in our community.

Brian Young speaking on "Understanding Creation".  February 15th.  Hear the creation story from Genesis and learn the answers to many of the questions we often have about this event.

Please join us as we look more deeply at each of these subjects.  That's 7 PM in our sanctuary every Wednesday night starting January 18th and running through February 15th.  Refreshments and childcare will be provided.  There is no charge for admission.
